Sunday 22nd August
Lincolnshire Centre
Help us celebrate 30 years of the MG Car Club Lincolnshire Centre with a full day of entertainment for you and your MG!
A very special driving event that includes a guided tour of Kings Lynn, a scenic drive to the lazy otter for lunch, the 30th anniversary concours and a rural drive to Denver.

THE Lincolnshire centre of the MG Car Club will stage a full day of activities on Sunday 22 August to commemorate their thirtieth anniversary.
The forward thinking, two-times Nuffield Gold cup winning centre have steadily increased their membership in recent years, and are now set to celebrate their thirtieth year in fine style.
The planned anniversary tour includes a guided tour of Kings Lynn, a scenic drive to a popular lunch-time stop where a concours will assume centre stage.
The day will conclude with an afternoon rural drive to Denver Mill and a bumper turn-out is anticipated.

Entry cost is £12 per car.

MG Car Club Lincolnshire Centre Chairman David Stonehouse said:

“This really does promise to be a terrific day – and we’re hopeful of attracting enthusiasts from far and wide.” The Lincolnshire centre continues to go from strength to strength and we’re exciting about celebrating our anniversary in this way”

Y Register
Shuttleworth Run

This year the MG Y Type register are having an Autumn Run to complement the Spring Runs organised so well every year by Jerry Birkbeck.
The run will start in the pretty town of Woburn and go through Bedfordshire lanes to the Shuttleworth Collection in Old Warden.
The run will start at around 11.00am and we aim to be at Old Warden for the start of the days flying at 2.00pm.

The Shuttleworth Collection houses an astounding collection of airworthy vintage aircraft from the earliest aeroplane still flying, powered by its original engine, through thirties biplanes to second world war fighters. Whether or not you’ve ever visited before, the sight, sound and smell of Edwardian aeroplanes flying over a classic grass aerodrome at twilight is unforgettable.
If the aeronautical doesn’t appeal to you there are the beautiful Swiss Gardens to visit and a Falconry Centre. If that’s not enough there’s also a children’s playground and a field full of wallabies, emus and llamas.

We have been given dedicated parking space on the flight line for 30 cars and a 10% discount on entry to the event.

Entry to the run is free for Y Type Owners, £5 for other MGs; including a Rally Board and Route Book.
Entry to The Shuttleworth Collection with exclusive parking on the flight line is at a discounted price of £18.00 per person.

We hope that Y Type owners who haven’t been to Spring Runs before will be able to join us. Interlopers and non-MGCC members are also welcome of course; at a nominal charge.
