Race Retro 2012

THE MG CAR CLUB returns to Stoneleigh this weekend for Race Retro and we look forward to talking with enthusiasts throughout the course of the weekend.

The Club will have 3 FIA MGBs on displays to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the vehicle.

Race Retro 2012 is jam packed with exciting features, amazing motorsport legends, competition cars and motorcycles spanning 80 years, hundreds of exhibitors and much, much more!

With the 2012 MGCC racing calendar now finalised, entries are being taken for Donington on Sunday April 8th, the race-page for the event is available to view by clicking HERE.

Other race circuits the Club will visit in 2012 include Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Thruxton and Snetterton. Stoneleigh 2012

THE MG CAR CLUB enjoyed a successful day at Stoneleigh on Sunday (19th February) and was pleased to welcome a good number of new members.

Aside from main Club, the MGF, Zed, MGB and Midget Register were all in attendance during what proved to be a characteristically hectic 7 hour show.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, a very warm welcome to all our new members and we look forward to seeing you at shows throughout 2012.

An Evening With Miss Bridget - Abingdon

ROY LOCOCK will be focussing on his recent “Into Africa” Tour in a presentation evening at Kimber House on Wednesday 28th March 2012.

The intrepid Club member will be speaking about his African exploits which saw him encounter the usual mix of beautiful scenery, mechanical gremlins, thievery and a lorry journey he’ll never forget!

Tickets are priced at £5 with all proceeds going direct to Roy’s chosen charity, Coco. Free refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
